Frequently asked questions

What’s an FSA/HSA, and can I use it to pay for Drop It Club?

Flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA) are pre-tax accounts that let you set aside money to cover eligible healthcare expenses.

If your doctor suggests weight loss to manage or treat a specific condition—like obesity, hypertension, or heart disease—the IRS might allow you to use your FSA or HSA funds to pay for Drop It Club with tax-free dollars.

Do I need to talk to my doctor and FSA/HSA provider first?

We can’t guarantee that signing up for Drop It Club will qualify as a medical expense, so it’s best to check with your healthcare provider and FSA/HSA administrator before you submit a reimbursement.

Can I use my FSA funds before they expire on December 31?

Absolutely! If you want to pre-pay for a few months of membership, reach out to us before signing up. Our support team will walk you through the process. Just double-check with your provider to make sure everything lines up with your plan.
